We only acquire wines from the most outstanding producers, and only from the most outstanding vintages. In other words, every wine we offer for sale is exceptional.

Our wines are mostly acquired 'en primeur', when they still reside at their respective Chateaux and are first offered for sale to the trade. We generally purchase in trade size quantities from numerous reputable negociants and/or other trade suppliers. Due to the strength of our sourcing relationships and unique virtues of our 'buy and hold' business model (and because we are not beholden to typical working capital constraints) we do not encounter 'pressure' to buy each and every vintage, nor do we succumb to large, burdensome inventories of less interesting (albeit perfectly acceptable...) 'commodity' wines.
Once we take delivery from the Chateaux, most of our wines remain in Europe during their early maturation phase. It has always been a core principle to keep shipping to an absolute minimum. Furthermore, many of our overseas customers prefer to acquire wine which has never crossed the Atlantic (nor had U.S. import labels affixed). When our wines approach maturity, we transport portions of our collection from Europe into the U.S. (only in refrigerated shipping containers and only during temperate seasons, of course). Wines are then delivered to our professional U.S. storage facility (as pictured above), where they remain until sold.
The best producers and best vintages deserve the same utmost care, from a single, fastidious owner, from the moment they leave their chateaux until they finally reach your glass.
