TENUTA SANTI GIACOMO E FILIPPO

Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo is an 800 acre organically-certified farm and estate located in the heart of the Badia Natural Reserve just outside Urbino in Marche on Italy’s east coast. The passion project of the Bruscoli family, led by daughter Marianna, the estate is a resurrected working farm (based around an ancient parish church), with the majority of the land devoted to cereal crops and livestock. 25 acres of grape vines were first planted in 2006, primarily to unique native varietals such as Incrocio Bruni, Verdicchio, Bianchello and Montepulciano, as well as Sangiovese, and the first vintage was released in 2010. In 2016, a state of the art winery was opened enabling the estate to age wines in steel, oak and ancient clay amphorae. The wines are concentrated and expressive yet accessible, with a unique sense of place.
